This crochet crop top pattern is intended for an intermediate crochet skill level (or an advanced beginner). However, our goal is to make patterns that are understandable for anyone of any crochet skill level. In this pattern, there are LOTS of photos, diagrams, drawings & charts to help you along the way! This pattern is SIZE INCLUSIVE. Perfect for all unique bodies.
To make this top, several shell squares will be made prior to connecting them together using a unique method. Next, the straps and a waist band will be made. Lastly, cowrie shells or any type of beads will be attached. Beads or shells are optional, but I do recommend it as I like the way it finishes off this project!
We also attached 3 Video Tutorials to this Pattern to help you along the way!
You will need around 200 - 600m of any weight 2 FINE yarn or weight 3 LIGHT yarn and a 4mm crochet hook. I used Truboo 100% bamboo Lion Brand Yarn. I personally think that a softer yarn would work best for this set as we want the shell squares to drape over the body & not flare out. A soft cotton yarn would be another great option for this project.
